Illustrative sector workflow

AI assurance for commerce.

Assess a defined commerce workflow against the rules and outcomes that matter. Use controlled scenarios to examine capability, boundaries and operational behaviour, then review the evidence and exclusions. The example below describes a possible test scope; it is not a measured result or a claim of certification.

What is the problem?

Invented availability, incorrect prices, unsafe refunds and private-data exposure.

Example: A return outside the usual policy

An assistant retrieves approved product and returns information and escalates an exception.

What could be tested?

  • Product/source boundaries and uncertainty
  • Returns policy and refund authority
  • Privacy and human escalation

What evidence could you receive?

Response assertions, tool decisions and return-handoff state.

What are the limits?

Synthetic inventory and customer records; no sales or conversion claim.

What should you prepare?

Describe the workflow and target, the rules and risks, authorised test data or access, success criteria, stakeholders and timing or budget constraints. Use high-level public descriptions until a private scoping channel is agreed.

Good questions.

Is this a published client result?

No. This is a hypothetical workflow to explain a possible assessment scope. No customer, measured result or sector endorsement is claimed.

What is needed before testing?

Agree the workflow, target system, rules, risks, authorised test data/access, success criteria, stakeholders and constraints. Submission does not authorise testing.
